This notice describes how Materva Inc. ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use Materva Troubleshoot Pro (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for the data we collect directly from you.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, login credentials, language preference.
- Usage data — your prompts, diagnostic sessions, message history, timestamps, language.
- Voice data — when you use voice input, short audio clips are transcribed and discarded.
- Technical data — device identifiers, IP address, browser, request logs.
- Support data — messages you send us.
2. Why we use it
- Provide the Service (contract performance): account, sessions, AI responses, voice features.
- Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests): abuse detection, rate limiting.
- Improve the Service (legitimate interests): aggregate analytics, error monitoring.
- Customer support (contract / legitimate interests).
- Legal compliance when required by law.
3. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates taxes, and issues invoices. See Paddle's privacy notice.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — for storage, compute, and content delivery.
- AI model providers — your prompts are sent to large language model providers solely to generate responses; they are not used to train third-party models.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, where strictly necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law.
4. Retention
We keep account and session data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@matervainc.com. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
6. International transfers
Some recipients listed above are located outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and the principle of least privilege.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
